Which is more important electricity or water

Sometimes in South Africa you have both. Lately it has been one or the other. We were without running water for more than 2 days straight. Less if you count the little time it was on at 2:00 AM. They have buckets in reserve in a shed for just such times. The water here has some salt so they bring 4-5 gallon buckets of water from another township for cooking and making tea and coffee. They bought us bottled water.
Last night as we slept a storm came through and the electricity went off. Funny thing though the water came back on. So today we had water but no light. We had a cold breakfast of lettuce and tomato salad, bread, cheese and chicken bologna. We took the three of them out to eat lunch since there was no way of cooking. It was close so we could get back for service. The food was excellent. We brought home leftovers which we are eating tonight.

Mikki had to preach by candlelight and flashlight. We sang with our ipod plugged into a portable battery operated radio. Had to go purchase it today.
Two rooms have light but no lights in the sockets to charge the cell phones. Oops, the 2 rooms went out. We will have a candlelight supper. Gotta run for now.
